Right at the beginning the trail passes along the mountain oasis of the Tschuggen Grand Hotel designed by Mario Botta. The path then continues slightly uphill all the way to the Tschuggen hut.

Book a deckchair at the Tschuggen hut and enjoy the sun after the ascent.
