Innerarosa - Bergkirchli - Mittelstation
This short hike starts in Innerarosa and first leads past the Bergkirchli (small church). The Bergkirchli was completed in 1493 and it is the oldest building in Arosa. The trail continues uphill to the Tschuggenhütte. The Tschuggenhütte, where the Arosa Humorfestival also takes place every year, is the perfect place for a culinary stopover. Enjoy a warm drink or a hearty meal in one of the largest mountain restaurants in Switzerland. Now you can tackle the last section. This leads through the middle of the Arosa Lenzerheide snow sports area and brings you to the middle station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car. Here you can either take the gondola back to the trainstation or walk the Arlenwaldweg to Prätschli.
The operating times of the Arosa-Weisshorn aerial cableway can be found here.
Author’s recommendation
At the end of the hike, at the middle station of the Arosa Weisshorn cable car, you'll find the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. Although the bears go into hibernation in winter, it is worth a short detour. You can find the opening hours at www.arosabaerenland.ch/eng
