With the settlement on the west side of Lenzerheide, individual families and religious donated intimate sites of devotion. They stand in places like rocky edges, dangerous stretches, or in remote hamlets to protect them against misfortune and danger. They testify to the gratitude and the interest of the local population.
On the east side of the Lenzerheide holiday region respectively the community Vaz/Obervaz, there are no chapels, because the settlement of the main fractions Lain, Muldain and Zorten ran out and large parts of the forest area belonged to Lantsch / Lenz.
Various hikes lead past the different chapels.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the Post Lenzerheide you walk about 3 minutes to the chapel St. Antonius, directly vis-à-vis the town hall. This chapel was built by the Capuchins and visited by the peasants from Lain, Muldain and Zorten during the summer months for prayer. Then the trail continues via the campsite, canal path to Lain-Trantamoira (about 1 hour), where the Lady Chapel (Plam Tgapalotta) is located. Now follow the road up to Sporz (Hotel Guarda Val -ca 30 minutes), where the Chapel of St. Wendelin, consecrated in honor of the patron saint of the shepherds. Previously, the old chapel was called Lady Chapel. Afterwards, you will continue along Crestasweg over the wide meadows with a wonderful panorama towards Savognin and Albulatal back to Val Sporz and Lenzerheide (about 45 minutes).
Public transport
Arrival by train to Chur. Then get on the buses of PostautoGraubünden and arrive to Lenzerheide Post within 40 minutes.By road
From Basel and Zurich - Chur Sued (exit no. 17) - Lenzerheide.
From Milano - Lugano - San Bernadino Tunnel - Thusis - Chur (exit Lenzerheide) - Lenzerheide.
Parking
Parking is available in the large car park between public sports area and Sunstar Alpine Hotel in Lenzerheide.
