This is the Orginal Swiss Epic Etape from 2019. Feel like the pros on their round. Only: you have more time for the single trails and nature - without any pressure to perform.

Start the tour in the middle of the village of Lenzerheide before you tackle the easy climb at the World Cup site. After about 50 meters in altitude, you can already enjoy the first, flowing trail from Valbella down to Parpan. From there, the first of today's two longer ascents takes place, with 600 meters of altitude difference, first on asphalt and finally on a fire road that gets steeper and steeper. For the first drops of sweat you will be compensated with a wonderful high trail with some up- and downhills and with a wonderful view over the Lenzerheide. Afterwards, it's another steep climb. Once at the top, you can look forward to a wonderful descent to the middle station of the Rothornbahn Scharmoin, where you enter the FLOWline of the bike park, which is peppered with berms and fun jumps. As soon as you have meandered through the FLOWline, a combination of trail, gravel and asphalt will lead you through a sparse forest ever so slightly downhill towards the golf course in Lenz, where you will change the side of the valley. Now comes the second longer climb of the day, but don't worry: where there's a path going up the mountain, there's also a trail going down. After about 500 meters of this climb, a fun trail provides a well-deserved breather. This is followed by an intermediate steep climb with a total of 350 meters of altitude on gravel and single trail to the highest point of today's tour at 2'153 m.a.s.l. You've made it - now comes the big fun! On the rapid single trail down into the valley, you should not only enjoy the ride, but also the spectacular panorama from time to time. The final descent leads directly to the Heidsee, where it is worth stretching your feet into the cool water and let the day end comfortably.

A tour that should be on the to-do list of every mountain bike enthusiast and gives a great insight into what ambitious amateurs and world-class mountain bikers achieve at the five-day mountain bike stage race Swiss Epic in Graubünden.
