Piz Casnil
Piz Casnil is not the highest and best-known peak in the Albignahütte catchment area, but that is precisely what makes it so attractive. It is an excellent viewpoint of the surrounding climbing mountains and the still impressive glaciers. The Forno glacier, the second-longest glacier in Graubünden, is particularly impressive. The mountain is too "easy" for climbers, too demanding for hikers. Climbers who like to scramble without having to carry climbing equipment will find their happiness in the most beautiful granite on Piz Casnil Südgrat. This tour can be done as a day tour from the cable car station or as part of a stay of several days at the Capanna da l‘Albigna.
