From Maloja to Splügen (panoramic multi-day tour)

The route from Maloja to Splügen takes several days and offers various accommodation options. As the tour is partly above the tree line, overnight stays in tents are also possible and therefore the tour is also suitable for adventurous hikers. After the ascent to the Lunghin Pass, where the triple European watershed can be marvelled at, the route leads over the Septimer Pass to the beautiful Avers village of Juf. Here there are several options for overnight stays and refreshments. The second day should be started early, as the longest section of the tour will be covered. The route first leads a few hundred metres, partly on the road and partly on well-maintained hiking trails, out of the valley towards Innerferrera. Shortly before you reach the village, turn left and follow the hiking trail markings.
