Alpine hike on two Rothorns at once! The Aros Rothorn is the highest peak of the Plessur Alps, the Parpan Rothorn with its mountain station is well known to skiers and mountain bikers.

Arosa has more to offer than just a large skiing area, with the Arosa Rothorn it also has an outstanding alpine hiking peak! Despite its proximity to the Parpaner Rothorn mountain station, the summit is not overcrowded. The ridge leading up to it is quite impressive and requires experience in alpine terrain (T4). For a day-long round tour, it is best not to start at the mountain station, but in Innerarosa. This way you can also get to know two other summer pearls of the region, the Schwelli and Älplisee. Via the Erzhornsattel you reach the Aroser Rothorn via the easier north-east ridge (T3), the descent to the Parpaner Rothorn is somewhat more demanding (T4), not least because of the poor rock quality, and also has some scrambling sections. After the adventure, you can fortify yourself in the restaurant on the Parpaner Rothorn before descending from the Gredigs Fürggle through the beautiful Schafälpli valley.
