The circular tour starts at the car parking next to Giacometti Sport in Maloja. From here the trail first heads southeast towards Salecina and then curves west to the Orden dam. About 200 m before the dam wall, the trail heads north back to the starting point.

The circular route can also be started from the Orden parking.
