The big Altein Waterfall is visible while hiking from Isel direction Lake Alteinsee.

The big Altein Waterfall flows over the rocks from Mt. Schiesshorn down to the Isel area. When hiking from Isel to Lake Alteinsee - from where the hiking trails lead further around Mt. Schiesshorn or in direction Davos - you will be able to catch a glimpse onto the impressive falling water. A narrow path brings you to a small viewpoint with benches, from where the view and the refreshing spray can be enjoyed the most.

Public transport

Take the Rhaetian Railway to Arosa and continue with the local bus to the busstopp Untersee. Continue by foot.

By road

We recomment to leave your car at the parking garage Ochsenbühl and to continue in the local bus an by foot to the waterfalls. A limited amount of parking spaces is available at the Isel.
