In the beautiful café with winter garden, terrace and view on the village square of Castasegna you can enjoy sweets/specialties.

From July to October there are delicious dishes from the summer menu. We especially recommend the chestnut ice cream.

For those who want to know exactly: Apple pockets are baked on Mondays, almond gipfeli on Wednesdays, nut gipfeli on Thursdays and cream slices and much more on Saturdays.The house speciality is the chestnut cake, winner of the silver medal at the swiss bakery trophy 2006. The nut cake won the gold medal in 2008.

Chestnut Festival
During the programme of the annual Festival della Castagna in October, numerous local chestnut specialities can be tasted. For example, cakes, ice cream, biscuits, pasta, liqueur and beer.
