The Hotel Schweizerhaus is located in the centre of Maloja, diagonally opposite the post bus stop Maloja, Posta.
It originated from the hospice "Osteria vecchia", which was built about 600 years ago. In 1880, the Osteria was rebuilt in chalet style by Count de Renesse and extensively modernised in 1968 as Schweizerhaus. The Schweizerhaus has 22 hotel rooms that vary between rustic and modern, depending on taste.
All rooms are newly renovated. There is a fitness room and sauna, outdoor parking and, with prior reservation, underground parking spaces as well as an e-charging station directly in front of the house.
Breakfast is served on the 1st floor in the panorama hall. In the in-house restaurants Orsini, Engadiner Stübli and on the large sun terrace, hot meals are served throughout the season.
