Historical sites at Lake Garda

The Colle di Santo Stefano is a place of history and memory, testimony of two historical moments, which have left a strong trace on the history of Valle di Ledro, the Third Italian War of Independence and the First World War.

Today is a convention and events centre, this was originally a place where in the mid-19 century the nobility of Central Europe met and whiled away the time.

The Captain's Palace of Malcesine: the National Monument of Malcesine overlooking Lake Garda

For centuries, this road was the main link between Lake Garda and the Adige Valley.

Built in 1873 as residence of Archduke Albert of Austria who was in the habit of taking a few weeks’ rest here every year.

Complex designed in the 1930s by Giancarlo Maroni, the architect of D'Annunzio's Vittoriale.

The church in Palù dei Mori, dedicated to the Saint Antonio, was built at the  beginning  of  the  17th  century  and  abandoned  inthe  1960s  after  the  collapse  of  the  roof.  The  church has recently been restored.
